Lunch with mom at Tan Tien. I had the Hủ tiếu xào tofu. I’ve missed the authentic Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine from Bellaire. San Marcos "Chinese" food is so Americanized and bland.

Another Project 365 attempt. It seems I’m more successful when I actually do start on the 1st.

I spent part of new years day making baked goods with two good friends. Vegan s’more cupcakes recipe from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World… pretty delicious results for something with no egg or dairy!

13/365: Sprinkles

The mound of frosting was taller than the cake part! I’m digging the detail of the sprinkles in this.

Went to Sugarbaby’s Cupcake Boutique in Houston with Gaby for a photoshoot. Also went to Aladdin’s Mediterranean Cuisine (not pictured) for lunch, followed by frozen yogurt at Berripop.

6/365: Harwin shopping

Gaby and I went to Harwin Central Market for the first time. I’m not too keen on discounted perfumes or counterfeit handbags, but as for cheap jewelry (à la Claire’s or Forever 21, etc.) and trinkets, it’s the place to go!

I brought my SLR but all the shopkeepers looked like they would had yelled at me if I had pulled that out and started taking pictures. So Sony Cybershot photos for now.
